Because of its long maturation process, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena (Aceto Balsamico di Modena) is not at risk of any particular alteration during storage. It is sufficient to keep it in a closed container in a cool, dark place, not exposed to direct sunlight.

Beware of perfumes

To prevent its characteristic aroma from being altered, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena (Aceto Balsamico di Modena) should be kept away from perfumes or from substances with pronounced smells.
