Savoury puffs with Mozzarella cheese, Porcini mushrooms and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI

Ingredients for 4 servings

8 small puffs

200 g cow’s milk Mozzarella cheese

150 g fresh or frozen Porcini mushrooms

Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI

some small sprigs of thyme


extra virgin olive oil


black pepper

Remove the soil from the mushrooms carefully, rub them with damp paper and slice them thinly. Season them with olive oil, salt, pepper, some leaves of thyme and chopped chive.

Dice the Mozzarella cheese, let it drain well on blotting paper.

Fill a syringe with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI and inject some drops into different parts in each puff.

Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese and mushrooms on the puffs.

Grill them in the oven for some minutes and serve.
