The Consortium for the Protection of Aceto Balsamico di Modena at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York (June 28–30, 2026)
The Consortium for the Protection of Aceto Balsamico di Modena will take part in the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York from June 28 to 30, 2026, within the Italian Pavilion, Level 3, Booth 3221.
The event is the leading North American trade show dedicated to the specialty food and beverage sector and represents a strategic showcase for promoting the authenticity, quality, and cultural value of Aceto Balsamico di Modena PGI to media representatives, industry professionals, buyers, and international stakeholders.
Within the context of the U.S. market—one of the product’s most important export destinations—the Consortium will carry out promotional, educational, and awareness-raising activities aimed at strengthening consumer knowledge of Aceto Balsamico di Modena PGI and combating the phenomenon of Italian Sounding. These efforts will also be supported by Robert Campana, influencer and founder of the “Stop Italian Sounding” project.
Throughout the three-day show, the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI Consortium will invite attendees to experience the product beyond its traditional uses through a series of creative tastings and educational programming. Available at this year’s booth will be bespoke doughnuts filled with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena-infused chantilly cream by beloved NYC bakery Angelina, as well as custom mocktails crafted with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI courtesy of West Village’s Donna.
Participation in the Summer Fancy Food Show reaffirms the Consortium’s commitment to supporting the growth of the product in international markets and to sharing with American consumers the history, tradition, and deep connection to its territory that make Aceto Balsamico di Modena PGI unique.
The Consortium’s presence at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York is part of the Le Terre del Balsamico project, the second-level consortium that brings together the two protection consortia of Aceto Balsamico di Modena PGI and Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena PDO. The initiative is funded by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry (MASAF), Ref. DM No. 0685338 of December 18, 2025, CUP J98H25001880007.
