Salad with grapes, Gorgonzola PDO, nuts and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI


200 gr mixed salad (curly, radicchio, iceberg)

250 gr Gorgonzola PDO

1 bunch of red/black grapes

2 Tbsp raisins

2 Tbsp pine nuts

1/2 Tbsp honey

1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI

1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Salt to taste

Wash the salad and dry it thoroughly, slice it into strips and place it in a nice serving bowl. Remove the crust of the Gorgonzola PDO and cut the cheese into rather small cubes and add them to the salad.

Wash and dry the bunch of grapes, cut the grapes in half and remove the seeds, as far as possible, then add the grapes to the salad bowl.

Enrich your salad with the raisins and with pine nuts that you have previously roasted in a small saucepan.

Dress the salad: put the extra virgin oil, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI, honey and salt into a jar. Close the jar and shake it vigorously, pour the dressing over and salad and toss gently.

Serve the salad with an excellent glass of wine and lots of baguette slices.
